ABC Certified Dog Trainer

  Andrea teaches obedience classes at Makin-Trax. She has a passion for positive reinforcement training methods and over 20 years practice training dogs.
 

  Her experience began in Germany with a German Dog Training Club where she trained for Schutzhund with her German shepherd. Schutzhund is a dog sport which tests dogs of all breeds for the traits necessary for police-type work. Later she became a member of the Ostheimer Hundeclub where she began Competitive Obedience as well as Schutzhund sport training. After which point she started training under and assisting with Behavioral Modification under Biggi Datzer for nearly a decade.
 

  After moving to Canada 14 years ago, Andrea became an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and started training her Black Russian Terrier, Uzza. They competed together in United Kennel Club Obedience. Today, Andrea currently owns and trains a rescued Shepherd/Lab X named Coco. They train together for Competitive Obedience and Agility.
